Campo Electronics, Appliances and Computer, Inc.
This is the web-site of the former Campo Electronics, Appliances and
Computers, Inc., a Louisiana Corporation liquidated under the provision of
Chapter 7 of the United States Bankruptcy Code, Case Number 97-13057,
United States Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District State of Louisiana.
In 1967, the company began operations under the name Campo Appliance
Company and was incorporated in Louisiana under the name Giant TC, Inc.
in 1972. In December 1992 the company changed its name to Campo
Electronics, Appliances and Computers, Inc. Prior to the bankruptcy, the
company operated thirty-one stores in six states.
This site was acquired by A-1 Home Appliance Center, Inc., along with
certain inventory and other assets of Campo, Appliances and Computers,
Inc., in a sale approved under a Bankruptcy Court order dated December 4th,
1998. The site is currently available for sale; please direct any inquiries to

CAMPO BETTER LIVING posted an advertisement in the Times Picayune on
November 5th, 2009 regarding the closing of their store at 1818N Causeway
in Mandeville Louisiana. There was no information on when this location will
close.
They also announced that they will be closing their New Orleans Location on
9930 Chef. Menteur Hwy.
